- Jay Baruchel will play Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third : He is to be the main character who is the son of chief Stoick the Vast. He is considered worthless by most villagers because of his capabilities or more precisely the lack of physical strength.
- Gerard Butler acts as Stoick the Vast – The short-tempered chief of the Hairy Hooligan tribe.
-Christopher plays the role of Mintz-Plasse as Fishlegs – Fishlegs is Hiccup’s best friend
